Lessons, exams, and other activities in Stile are broken down into three modes to help you build and deliver them easily and effectively to your students.
These modes keep your lesson creation tools separate from your teaching tools, so that the screen you present to the class is clean and free from the distraction of teacher-specific editing and review tools. You can toggle between the three modes by clicking the Prepare - Teach - Analyse switch near the top right corner of the page. As you scroll down the page, the three options will shrink and stick to a header that will stay at the top of your screen for easy access.
Below is a description of each mode accompanied by a link to find more information:
Prepare mode allows you to review and edit the Lesson's content and model answers before releasing it to your students. This mode also includes teaching notes, which are not visible to students and provide you with extra information and resources to deliver an outstanding Lesson. Use this mode to create Lessons from scratch, add due dates and marks, and add or edit existing content.

Teach mode is designed to help you lead discussion, present your screen, and engage with students. Teacher tips and editing tools are hidden, and collaborative questions such as polls and live brainstorms are controlled in Teach mode. Each question shows you how many students have attempted an answer and also gives you the options to show the correct answer and show student responses, so you can review together. On the left you can see progress bars for each question and at the top is a Teleport button, which brings your students to the correct page in Stile, and a Pause button, which stops your students' progress on the page and prompts them to look to you.
Tip: Teach mode blends well with video conference apps for remote teaching. Share your screen with students to lead them through the Lesson.

Analyse mode provides a snapshot of student responses as they work through the Lesson. It includes a per-question analysis of the whole Lesson, a breakdown of which students have started and completed the work, and (for assessments) a results distribution graph.
