Create a clean copy of a subject and its resources.
A duplicated subject contains an exact copy of the original subject's resources. It does not contain co-teachers, students, or any student work.
This can be useful in a few situations:
- The teacher wants to copy a master subject for use with students;
- The teacher wants to leave a shared subject but maintain access to its resources;
- The teacher is modifying the subject's resources and wants to keep a backup.
From the home page, click into the subject to be duplicated. Click on the green Options menu and select Duplicate this subject. Stile will return to the home page and the new subject will populate at the bottom of the subjects list.
The duplicate subject will remain greyed out until it is ready, when it will turn green and the spinning arrow will be replaced by a workbook icon. This can take a few minutes, depending on the volume of resources it holds.
