Manage your school library as a Stile admin

Use the curation tools to manage what's available in your school's Stile library.

Updated yesterday

The school library is a place teachers can share custom resources just for your school. Stile school admins have additional curation tools to rename sections, reorganise units, and remove anything that is no longer needed.

Click here to learn about sharing to the school library if you are not yet familiar with it.

Enter Curation mode

Click the School library button in the side menu to view your school's private Stile library. If you have published a customised Scope and Sequence for your school, click on the Supplementary Content tab. Click the Edit school library button in the top right corner to enter Curation mode. This button is visible to everyone, but it is only enabled for school admins.

Note: If you have published a customised scope and sequence for you school, only units not included in the scope and sequence are available to curate from the Supplementary Content tab. Click here to learn more about building a custom scope and sequence for your school.

Edit and remove whole sections

Each section represents a Subject that was shared by a teacher and it can contain any number of units. Click the Edit button to give the section a new name or Remove to delete it completely. You can also add a new section to your library using the + Add section button at the top of the page.

Protip: Sections in the school library are in alphanumerical order. You can rename sections to make them appear in the order you want.

Edit, move, and remove units

Units are the Folders that teachers share to the library containing Sessions. You can rename, move, or remove these units in Curation mode.

Moved and renamed units will hold on to your changes, even if the original author updates the shared copy.

  • Click the pencil button to rename the unit;

  • Click the rubbish bin to remove the unit from the library. This does not delete the original copy, nor any copies made from this unit;

  • Click the ... button to move the unit to a different section; or

  • Click and drag the unit using the 4-way directional arrow button.
