Log back in to Stile quickly with these steps.
There are a few ways to reset your password.
Click to jump to the section that is most relevant to you:
- If your school uses its own login page, then talk to the school IT person;
- Use the password reset button on the Stile login page;
- If you are a student, ask your teacher for a temporary password.
Talk to your school's IT person
Your password is managed by your school if you log in to Stile through a school or Department login page. This is called a Single Sign-on integration. Talk to your school's IT person for help.
Note: If you don't have SSO and would like to set it up for your school, you can contact us! Learn more about setting up SSO for your school here.
Use the password reset button on the login page
Go to stileapp.com and type your email into the Your school email box.
Make sure your email is typed correctly. Any error in your email address will mean that Stile won't recognize your account. If this occurs and you have double-checked the spelling, you may have made a typo when you first signed up. Your teacher will be able to tell you which email to use.
If Stile recognises your email address, you will be taken to the password entry page.
Below the Log in button, click Forgot your password?
Double-check the spelling of your email address again and then click the Send me instructions button. An email will arrive in your email inbox within a few minutes. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don't see the email in your inbox.
Ask your teacher for a temporary password
If you are already enrolled in your teacher's class and your school does not use SSO, then your teacher can create a temporary password for you! Ask your teacher to copy and paste the email address on your account, plus the temporary password, into a message to you. Use those details to log in. If your teacher doesn't know how to do this, they can check out the tutorial here.
