Step 1: Find the Escape Rooms Unit in the Library
Log in to Stile and click Stile Library in the left side menu;
Click into the Supplementary section;
Click on the Escape Rooms unit to open it;
Click Teach this unit;
Add the unit to an existing Subject or create a new one (e.g. "Escape Room Challenges");
Click Go to my Subject to view your copy of the unit.
All escape room Sessions will be ready to use in your Subject.
Step 2: Prepare the Session
Click the escape room Session you want to run and review the Session Plan at the top of the page. It contains everything you need to run the activity.
Before class:
Download and print the resources in the Materials section. Everything is pre-built; no preparation from scratch required.
Watch the intro video to understand what students will experience.
Test the countdown simulation. Try entering codes correctly and incorrectly, and explore all the controls. The simulation resets when you refresh the page.
When you are ready to start, switch to Teach mode. This hides the Session Plan and Teacher tips so students see only the intro video and countdown simulation. See Teach mode: lead your students through a Session.
