Build your school's Scope and Sequence

Create a customised Scope and Sequence from Stile’s curriculum.

Set your science teaching team up for success by providing a clear guide on what units to teach and when. Using Stile's Scope and Sequence builder, you can create a customised science programme and publish it to all teachers at your school.

2. Open the Scope and Sequence builder;
3. Edit your Scope and Sequence;

1. Head to your School Library

The Scope and Sequence builder is found in your School Library. You can access your School Library from the menu sidebar. 

When building a Scope and Sequence, keep in mind that you are creating something for every teacher at your school to use. Your school can only have one Scope and Sequence.

 

2. Open the Scope and Sequence builder

Click Get Started to begin building your Scope and Sequence.

After a short loading animation, your Scope and Sequence will be automatically populated with the recommended Stile scope and sequence for your school's curriculum. If you are happy with how it looks click the Keep this button, otherwise continue to step 3 to edit your Scope and Sequence.

 

3. Edit your Scope and Sequence

Click the Edit button in the top right corner to begin editing your Scope and Sequence.

 

Units can be selected from the Stile Library or your School Library. Use the menu on the right to select a Library.

Find a unit you'd like to add from the list on the right, and drag it into place on your Scope and Sequence.

 

To rename a unit or remove it from your Scope and Sequence, hover over the unit and click the three dots button that appears.

 

To adjust the length of a unit, hover over the unit and use the drag handle that appears on the right side of the block to resize it. 

 

To rename or remove a section or term, click the three dots button to the right of that section/term. 

 

4. Publish

Finally, click Publish to make your Scope and Sequence available to all Stile teachers at your school. 

Teachers can copy single units or whole terms directly from the Scope and Sequence into their Subjects, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
