Search for a Subject
From the School Subjects page you can view the list of all active and archived Subjects created by teachers at your school. The page also includes columns showing the number of students enrolled, when it was last active, and the co-teachers with access to the Subject.
Filtering the lists can help you find what you are looking for. Search by keywords like 2023 or Earth and Space and filter the list by selecting a specific teacher from the dropdown menu.
Manage staff access to a Subject
Click on the 3-dot menu button to view options for that Subject, including adding or removing yourself or someone else as a co-teacher. This can be useful when needing to add a relief teacher to cover that Subject, or when new teachers need to be provided access to exisiting Subjects.
Archive or unarchive a Subject
You can archive Subjects from this page even when they have multiple teachers. Click on the 3-dot menu button next to the Subject you want to update and select the Archive this subject option. This can be helpful when doing a cleanup at the start of the year, or when departed teachers Subjects are still active and are no longer needed. You can similarly Restore a subject from the Archived subjects list.
Rename a Subject
A uniform naming structure can be easier to navigate for students and teachers, especially if your school uses Stile across several year levels and topics. You may also want to rename a Subject to update the name of a teacher if there has been staffing or timetable changes. Click on the 3-dot menu button next to the Subject you want to edit, and then select the Rename subject option. Type the new name of the Subject and click Save. This update will be visible to all students and teachers in the Subject.
