Show student work for group discussion
You can compare student responses to model answers while you are working through the Lesson with your students. This is a great way to encourage students to consider different viewpoints and answers, especially on open-ended questions.
Make sure you are in Teach mode for the Lesson you are currently teaching. If you are not yet familiar with Teach mode, learn more here. Find the question you want to discuss and click on Show responses. This will open the Quick Review window, which allows you to see your students' answers for that question alongside the model answer. You can learn the ins and outs of this view here.
View a student's worksheet for individual marking and feedback
When marking a Lesson for your whole Class, you can show responses to a single question at a time or you click into a whole worksheet for one student at a time.
Click into the Lesson you want to mark and switch to Analyse mode. Click here if you are not yet familiar with Analyse mode. Find and click on your student's name in the activity tracker under Working or Submitted and to go directly to their worksheet.
To review a single question at a time, you can find it in the Question Analysis section. Multiple choice questions will give you a graph showing the breakdown of right, wrong, and unattempted answers. Open ended questions will have a View responses button. Click the button to open up the Quick Review window for that question, which allows you to compare each student's response with the model answer. You can learn the ins and outs of this view here.
