Start an email to the entire Class with a single click.
Stile makes it easy to create and send an email to a whole Class of students in one go. This can save you time when you want to get a message out to everyone quickly, such as reminding your students of an upcoming due date, alerting them to new feedback or requests for resubmission.
Select the Class you want to email
In your Subject, click on the Students button to go to the Students page. If you have more than one Class in the Subject, then click on the Class you'd like to email in the left column.
Click 'Email class'
The Email class button will open up a modal window with your students' email addresses separated by semicolons. You can remove any addresses you don't wish to email, and then click either Email class or Copy class emails at the bottom of the window. The Email class button will open your default email program, such as Microsoft Outlook, and start a blank email addressed to every every email from the Students page window. From here, you can write and send your email as you normally would.
If you don't have an inbox set up on your computer, then select the Copy class emails button to copy the whole list to your clipboard. You can then go to your email client in your browser (e.g. Gmail, Live/Hotmail etc), start a new email, and paste the list of student email addresses into the BCC line.
