Access high quality Spanish translations to Stile's core middle school curriculum.
Stile's latest accessibility feature introduces human-edited Spanish translations to our NGSS Science library. This feature is in its early stages and more will be added to it over time, and so we would love to hear your feedback and insights as you dive into it! Please read this article carefully about what translations are currently available and how to access them.

How to enable Spanish language support in your Subject
Click into your Subject and then click its Settings menu in the top right corner of your Stile window. Scroll down the Settings page until you come to the language settings. Only one language can be set as default, and you can select multiple languages to be available. In the sample image above, English is the default language, while students and teachers can switch between both English and Spanish. These settings save automatically, so once you are happy with your selections you can go back to your Lessons. This will need to be done for each Subject that you want to have Spanish langauge support.
How to interact with the translation tools
Teachers and Students can change the language of a text block by clicking the translation button above it, next to the automatic narration button. In most cases it will be set to EN (English) by default. Click it and select Spanish from the menu. The text block will update to show the Spanish translation and the language tool will show ES to indicate the change.
Note: If you don't see any translation options in your Lessons, grab a fresh copy of the unit from the Stile library.
What is translated and what isn't (for now)
We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of text in Stile. Currently our high quality Spanish translations are available on:

- The question text in all questions and live collaboration widgets;
- Multiple choice answer options.
Translations are not currently available on:
- Annotated images such as learning goals and character conversations;
- Image/Video captions and subtitles;
- Tables, Graphs, Interactive Canvases, and Simulations;
- Live Poll responses.
You can learn about each type of question and content widget here.
In addition to the new Spanish translations, students are supported through our existing glossary translations and automatic text narration.
